Michael A. Hardy was awarded a Master of Science degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Texas at San Antonio-2008 summer session. Hardy did his undergraduate work at Angelo State University in San Angelo, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in May of 2002. He will begin work on his doctorate at Montclair State University in New Jersey this fall.

Mr. Hardy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Les Hardy of Lometa, and the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. James Hardy, also of Lometa.
