Lois Oliver Peterson

Lois Oliver Peterson, 92, a resident of Roseville, California for the past year, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2007 in Roseville. She was born December 18, 1914, in Knowles, New Mexico, the daughter of Andrew Todd and Addie Mobley Todd. In June 1937, Lois Todd and James Floyd Oliver were married in Brownwood, Texas. James preceded her in death in November 1964. In 1982, Lois Oliver and Richard Peterson were married in Austin. Richard preceded her in death in September of 2000. Before moving to California, Lois worked as a clerk for the Texas Department of Transportation. She also attended the First Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Jayme Gunter and her husband, Tom of Orangevale, California; six grandchildren: Samuel, Thomas and Joseph Gunter, of Orangevale CA; James Oliver of Fort Worth, TX; Wesley Oliver of San Antonio, TX; and Will Oliver, of Washington DC; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Bogard of San Saba, TX; and one sister-in-law, Susan Oliver

Mrs. Peterson is preceded in death by both of her husbands and one son, Todd Oliver; siblings: Cleo Bell Todd Jones Longmire, Earl Jackson Todd, Ellis Andrew Todd, Plez Archie Todd, Alta Sue Todd Lewis, and James Charlie Todd.

Graveside services were held Friday, November 23, 2007 at the Harmony Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Joshua Crutchfield officiating.
