Genesis 25:23: "And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from their bowels: and the one people shall be stronger than the other people: and the elder shall serve the younger."

The effort of this writing will be to show who are the Russian people of today. I am surprised to find many recognized Bible scholars don't even know. Our text is taken from the early history of God's chosen people. Isaac was the first son of Abraham and Rebecca was his wife. God opened her womb and she became pregnant with twins who were found to be fighting in her womb. This is part of a message I hope you will see herein. Also, please read Romans 9:10-13.

The 36th chapter of Genesis gives the generations, genealogy, and posterities of Esau. You will note it is entirely separate from any mention of Israelite history. God has always kept the past and future of Esau and Jacob separate. There is still hate for one and love for the other. In the past, Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a mere bowl of soup; after which he was called Edom. Esau went on to become the father of the Edomites. This is very, very important for you to know and understand because the Edomites are the people of Russia today. The Bible positively proves this; read Genesis 36:19. The 38th chapter of Ezekiel shows that Gog, known as the Russian people, will come against the nation of unwalled cities, which will be America. That will be in the time of the feared tribulation where thousands will die, and nations will see great disasters the world has yet to see.

When President Putin came to America and acted friendly to President Bush and suggested the U.S. and Russia could be friends, I told my wife this disturbed me as that isn't the way the Bible is written. But it was only a short time until it became very clear that Russia had no intention of befriending America. Their friends are Iran and China, and others who are America's opponents.

I'm not at all surprised to see Russia doing what they are in Georgia. President Putin said they would teach Georgia a lesson because they helped the U.S. in Iraq. Are we next?
