Do you have company coming with no time to prepare a scrumptious dessert? You are in luck. The 57th Annual Pecan Food Show is this Friday, December 7th at the San Saba Courthouse. Following the judging, (about 11:30) all of the entries (except the Grand and Reserve Champions) will be for sale. Your purchases will support the San Saba County Extension Education program. One of thier principal goals is the support to the San Saba County 4-H.Sale items may be spoken for, but all entries remain on display at the courthouse through the lunch hour. There will be breads, cookies, cakes, pies, candy and perhaps some fancy nuts, hors d’oeuvres or sugar free items. Come early for the best selection.A limited number of the Pecan Food Show Championship Recipes Cookbook, 2012 Edition will also be available.
