Woodlawn neighborhood twinkles with outdoor Christmas trees
Thursday, December 6, 2012 • Posted December 6, 2012

While you are out and about looking for dazzling Christmas decor, be sure to see the outdoor Christmas trees along Woodlawn and cross streets between 9th and Hope. Patty and Jarvis Shaw began the project last year, modeled after their much loved tradition in their old Austin neighborhood. Jarvis and his neighbor Val cut PVC tubes to place in lawns to support the trees. San Saba’s Boy Scout Troop 55, headed by Randall Hawkins, earned money by helping with the project. Come by and see how the neighbors have dressed their lovely Frasier firs trees to spruce up the neighborhood. They are beautiful day and night!
