Trinidad D. (T.D.) Botello passed away in San Saba on December 3, 2012, at the age of 92. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, with Rosary following at Heritage Funeral Home. The service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on December 6, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Saba followed by interment at the San Saba Cemetery.A resident of San Saba for 77 years, T.D. was born on September 26, 1920, second of twelve children to Crisostomo Botello and Jesusa Duarte Botello in Melvin, Texas. He married Frances Campos on July 19, 1949, in San Saba, Texas. T.D. served as a P38 Fighter mechanic in the US Army Air Corp in North Africa and Europe during WWII. He worked with T.K. Dismuke Mobil Station for many years.T.D. is survived by his children, Gloria Carroll and husband, Bob, of Austin; Martha Saucedo and husband, Ray, of Austin; and Martin Ray Botello and wife Teresa of Early. His grandchildren include Mike Carroll, Chris Carroll and wife, Michelle; Michelle Tobias and husband, Nels; Jason Garcia and wife, Jasmin; Brian Botello and wife, Sally; Garrett and Kirby Saucedo. His great-grandchildren include Jonathan and Amanda Carroll; Gareth, Mia and Colton Tobias and Brayden Garcia. T.D.’s siblings include John and Simon Botello from California; Mauro Botello from Ft. Worth; Thomas Botello from Lubbock; Domingo Botello, Felix Botello, Pauline Perez , and Santos Ramirez from San Saba.Preceding T.D. in death was his wife, Frances of sixty years, his parents, and brothers; Crisantos, Joe and G.D. Botello.T.D. will truly be missed by everyone. He was a good and kind man, and was loved by so many.Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba is in charge of the services.
