County Extension Agent submits resignation to Commissioners Court

The San Saba County Commissioners Court was held on Monday, November 26th at 9:00 a.m. in the County Judge’s Chambers. County Judge Byron Theodosis called the Court to order, welcomed everyone and acknowledged that Commissioners Kenley Kroll and Rickey Lusty were absent. Judge Theodosis gave the invocation followed by everyone joining for the pledges to the American and Texas flags.The Commissioners took action on the following items:1. Discussed project/improvements on the Courthouse Annex building.2. Discussed a landowners dispute concerning the type of fencing at the Airport.3. Took action to enact an Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning effective at noon, Saturday December 1st. Adopted the 26th day of November, 2012 for 90 days.4. Approved line item transfers and declared emergency budget amendments for 2012-2013 Budget.5. Approved the Accounts payables presented by County Treasurer, Lois Van Beck.6. Set the next Commissioners Court to be held Monday, December 10th at 9 a.m. The Court regretfully accepted the letter of resignation submitted by Carolyn McDowell, County Extension Agent, effective January 31, 2013.Judge Theodosis adjourned the Court.
