The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met November 7, 2012 for play day, with Janet Hoyt calling for a game of playing the holes that begin with the letters T & F, less half your handicap. First place was a tie between Jo Anne Hardy, who also won the Putt Pot and was the Low Gross and Low Net for the day, and Dorothy Sterner. Second place was Anita Miles and Third Place was Hattie Rogers who also won the Chip In Pot. Jo Ann Snow, Janet Hoyt, and Peggy Jones rounded out the field of players. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we should be counting our blessings and praising our Lord. Golf will soon be coming to an end for this year, with the weather and the holidays, but we will still meet and play games and fellowship, that’s what it’s all about! But the most fun is to be ‘swinging’!
