Ollon Ray Hamrick, 85, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.The funeral will be held Wednesday November 7, in Greenwood Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park. Ray graduated from San Saba High School. He attended Tarleton State and graduated from TCU. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Ray began working at Convair in 1951 and retired in 1990 from Lockheed. At his retirement, Ray was Chief of Administration over Building 200. Ray had always ranched over the years.He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Maddie Bailey. Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Betty Jean Hamrick; children, Debbie Conway, Scotty Hamrick and Troy Hamrick and wife, Jennifer; brother, Trenton Hamrick; grandchildren, Gabe Bailey, Trace Hamrick, Cary Hamrick, Casey Hamrick and Chelsea Tubbs.
