When the West was still wild, a rancher went to town one day. He tied his horses and wagon to the hitching post. When he came out, a series of shots rang out, causing his horses to bolt in terror. The rancher gave chase and managed to catch hold of one of the horses' reins, but in the process, he was carried under their hooves and trampled. The doctor questioned him, "Why did you do it? The rig isn't worth it.""Oh, yes it was," the rancher said. "My three children were sleeping inside."God sent His only Son to die on a cross in redemption for our sins. Every time someone obeys the Lord, the angels in glory must chorus, "It was definitely worth it!"Philippians 2:16 - "as you hold out the Word of Life - in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing."
