It is this type of event that helps build San Saba’s reputation as a great place to visit, shop, play and dine,” continued Mayor Jordan. The Civic Center will be filled with a lineup of great dealers. John English, an award winning photographer of wildlife and nature, a Texas Master Naturalist , will display his images that show the beauty in the world surrounding us. A great new feature joining the Fair is Long Ago and Far Away Antiques of Lampasas featuring European furniture, clocks and Christmas specialty items. Local dealer, Becky Burgess will be offering a fabulous array of beautiful antique furniture that will delight all. Additional antique dealers from across the state will give visitors a great variety from which to choose. Another unique item will be a special display of stone crosses made from San Saba stone. Continue your walk thru the Civic Center to enjoy beautiful paintings by a local artist who works in oil, watercolor and acrylic. Then treat your senses to a variety of fragrances by Scentsy, the hottest new thing in candles.AnnaGails rounds out the lineup of dealers with Christy Austermann of Cherokee Charm returning to the Fair with her unique fashion boutique which offers clothing, shoes, handbags and jewelry. Vendors specializing in hand-crafted jewelry, taxidermy, leather works and jewelry created from deer antlers will also be featured at the Fair. And of course, what is a fair without great food? In the Little Ristorante there will be a variety of foods prepared by local chefs including the Saturday special, a hearty vegetable-beef soup and the Sunday special, spaghetti with fresh marinara sauce and meatballs. Other delectable items include breakfast tacos; chicken salad and chopped BBQ beef sandwiches; and sausage wraps. A variety of desserts, made by some of San Saba’s finest confectioners, will be available to delight everyone’s taste buds. This year the proceeds from the Little Ristorante will be donated to the San Saba Community Gardens located at the Senior Center.“We are very excited that AnnaGails Antique and Art Fair is returning this year. With over 40 antique dealers, unique boutiques and local cuisine, we expect the second annual fair to be one of the largest antique shows in the Big Country with something for everyone”, said Tony Guidroz, Economic Development Director for the City of San Saba.
