Members Hank Perry, Courtney Hull, Kendall Johnson and Emma Martin participated in the San Saba County Food Show. Johnson was also awarded the Cattlewomen’s beef award.

Cherokee 4-H Club had its regular monthly meeting this past week. New officers were elected and everyone enjoyed having a hand in making butter. Four members participated in the San Saba County Food Show. Hank’s meatloaf, Kendall’s meatballs, Courtney’s soup and Emma’s fruit dip all advanced to the District Food Show that will be held in Abilene in November.
