Charles W. Pierce, 60, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 with family by his side at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. Charles was born October 2, 1952 to John Laurence Pierce and Bobbie Estelle Myers of San Saba, Texas. After being drafted and serving in the U.S. Army for four years Charles was Honorably Discharged in 1973. Charles graduated with his Bachelors of Business in Accounting in 1977 from the University of Texas Permian Basin and started his business, Fashion Floors, in August of 1981, and later became a homebuilder in 1999. He was a devoted business owner for over 32 years. Charles was also a very loving family man having two sons, Colby and Hunter Pierce, both born in Midland, Texas. He was excited to be welcoming his first granddaughter in early 2013.Charles is preceded in death by his mother and father, John & Bobby Pierce of San Saba, Texas, and his sisters, Karen Sholdt and Sandra Watkins of Midland, Texas. He is survived by his sons, Colby Pierce of Midland, Texas, and Hunter Pierce, of Edmond, Oklahoma; his nieces Shelley Wilson, Leanna Anderson, Lacey Watkins of Midland Texas; his nephew Matt Wilson of Edmond, Oklahoma, and several great nieces, nephews, and cousins in Texas. A memorial Service was held for Charles at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service was at 4:30 p.m. at San Saba Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.
