San Saba Tennis Team defeats Lampasas JV 10 to 9

The San Saba Tennis Team improves to a 2 – 0 record in team tennis by defeating Lampasas JV 10 to 9 on October 9. After the doubles round San Saba was down 4 to 3, but the Armadillos came back to win 7 of the 12 singles matches to win the match 10 to 9. The Armadillos were down 9 to 8 with two matches still on the court. J. T. Holland and William Cooley came through and won the last two matches to give the Armadillos the victory. The Armadillos will next play Brownwood Varsity on October 16. Playing for San Saba against Lampasas were Joely Haverland, Joannah Crosby, Josie Dawson, Kristen Isham, Morgan Jimenez, Marissa Anaya, Allison Christian, A.J. Gamboa, Mikayla Eden, Aaron Krueger, Gunnar Hibler, Jairo Casco, J.T.
