Fellowship of Christian Women to host luncheon October 25th
Thursday, October 18, 2012 • Posted October 18, 2012

Fellowship of Christian Women will be gathering at First Baptist Church fellowship hall on October 25th, for the October “Ladies Choice” Luncheon. Ladies at this church give the ladies of the county a special invitation to arrive at 11:30 a.m. and bring any foods they would like to share around the serving tables. “Ladies Choice” means you find something you have not prepared recently and think everyone would enjoy this time of year. Ladies in their 70’s will be treated this month and do not need to bring food. A nursery can be available for preschool-ers only, if you contact Sharon Hayes in advance. Rye Taylor, pastor of the Cherokee Baptist Church and Host of the Innovation Overdrive Podcast, has agreed to come and share a message he has titled, “Imagination in Action.” He plans to discuss ideas on how we can put our imagination into action and our passion into tangible gifts for God. Rye is married to Mandy Taylor and the father of two boys, Blaze and Teak. He grew up in the wilds of Zimbabwe, Africa as a missionary kid and continually enjoys creativity in Christ. Hope you will make your plans to come and share in the fellowshipping time and to enjoy one of our county pastors as he speaks from his heart.
