Nelle Annette Doran Aylor

Nelle Annette Doran Aylor, 95, passed from this life on Monday, October 8, 2012, in Seguin, Texas. She is now at rest in the place God has been preparing for her. Visitation was held on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at 2:00p.m. at the Father’s House in San Saba with services following at 3:00p.m. Interment was at the San Saba Cemetery in San Saba. She will be missed by all the people who have loved her.Nelle was born April 11, 1917 to Will H. and Ethal Doran in San Saba County. She was married to Tom Aylor in April, 1936. She lived all her life in San Saba until she was 88, when she moved to Seguin where she lived until her death. Nelle lived a life of faithful devotion and service to her God, her family, her church, and her community.Surviving Nelle are her children: Annette Boaz, Wilbur Aylor, Margy Roy and husband, Buddy; grandchildren: Rusty Boaz and wife, Kathleen, Nanette Rix Cowain and husband, Bob, Randy Boaz and wife, Deedra, Donna Wade and husband, James, Jayme Roy Bennett, Jay Roy and wife, Kari, Jeremy Roy, Jennifer Knight and husband, Greg, and Thomas Everett Aylor; 19 great-grandchildren: Aylor Rix, Carter Rix, Clay Boaz, Jake Boaz, Rachel Boaz, Nicolette Boaz, Tanner Wade, Jayde Bennett, Megan Roy, Billy Wayne Roy, Andy Roy, Judson Roy, Straton Roy, Asah Roy, Marisa Knight, Kadin Knight, Aliya Knight, Brynn Aylor, and Dane Aylor; sisters: Wanda Siler of Ohio, Valrea Bryant of San Saba and sister-in-law, Shirley Doran of San Saba; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and loved ones.Nelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Aylor; brothers, Burton and Bill Doran; and sister, Margy Jones.Bro. Tom Brand and Chaplain Jeremy Roy officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Carter Rix, Billy Wayne Roy, Andy Roy, Judson Roy, Clay Boaz, and Jake Boaz. Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Saucillo, Carl Carter, Joe Ragsdale, Jim Childress, Marvin Riggs, William Hunt, Mike Millican, Bob Millican, and Terry Smith.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Father’s House.
