Thursday, October 11, 2012 • Posted October 11, 2012

The long trip to Thorndale did not have an effect on our young men. They came out and took care of business and played a great game and came home with a 44-0 victory. We played well both offensively, defensively, and special teams. Our record now stands at 4 and 2 with eight points keeping us from having an undefeated record this season.Scoring for the Dillos were:Emiliano Rocha on a three yard touchdown run with the 2pt. conversion coming on a pass from Garrett Welch to John Welch.John Welch on a thirty five yard touchdown run with the 2pt. conversion coming on a run from Dallas Caldwell. Logan Guidroz on a nine yard touchdown pass from Garrett Welch with the 2pt. conversion coming on a John Welch run. Ismael Ramirez on a ten yard run. Bryon Riggs on a forty yard fumble recovery with the 2pt. conversion coming on a John Welch run. Joel Franco on a fifteen yard run.Playing well were: Ismael Ramirez with a fumble recovery, Holt Oliver with a pass interception, Luis Macias with a fumble recovery, Caleob Hardaman with a fumble recovery, John Welch with a fumble recovery, Bryon Riggs with a fumble recovery, and Roberto Coronado with a fumble recovery. We will not be playing a district game with DeLeon this Thursday because they do not have a JV team but, we will play Brady here at 6:30. Come and watch these young men. You will enjoy it.
