The Cherokee Ag Mechanics/FFA just finished their first project, which was a bench that is a memorial for Payten Vaughn. Payten was a positive feature to the FFA and was helpful in starting Cherokee’s first FFA chapter. He was a hard worker and he loved his family. We hope this bench serves as an inspiration to all Cherokee students who see it. We hope that these students strive to be as good of a person as Payten was. We are proud to honor and remember an all around loving and generous young man.
