Fundraiser to benefit The American Cancer Society

The Performance Talent San Saba County Relay for Life Team will be staging the first fundraiser benefitting The American Cancer Society (ACS) for the 2012 - 2013 season. The Christmas Pageant, Talent Contest, and Bazaar will be held at the San Saba Civic Center on Saturday, November 17th. The doors will open at 2:00p.m. for your early Christmas shopping. At 5:00p.m. the pageant and talent contestants will check-in. The event will begin at 6:00p.m.The pageant will be for all ages from birth through adults. The baby boys from birth through three years old are also invited to compete. Both males and females of all ages are eligible to compete in the talent portion. The entry fee for the pageant will include the interview, modeling a casual wear and dressy wear, and a talent. If entering the talent portion only, there will be a separate entry form and fee.The booths will be assigned on a first-come and first-serve basis. A small fee will be charged for the booths and donated to the ACS. Also, the proceeds from the pageant and talent contest will be given to the ACS. The winners of the pageant will make appearances representing San Saba County Relay for Life. Then, additionally, the winners from the talent contest will be invited to perform for the San Saba County Relay for Life.The Performance Team would like to challenge other organizations and individuals to form their teams early and begin their fund-raisers to help fight this dreaded disease which affects so many people in our community. We all need to band together and show our support.
