Thomas Keith Williams, 59, passed away at his home on the Williams Ranch south of San Saba on Friday, October 5, 2012. The graveside service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Cherokee Cemetery in Cherokee, TX, with visitation held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, October 8, 2012, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.Keith was born on January 11, 1953, to James Thomas and Florence Pearl Williams in San Angelo, Texas. On July 20, 1974, he married his beloved wife, Linda Faye Derrick. They lived in the Austin area where he was a well- respected title attorney until 2005 when they moved to the ranch in San Saba County. As a child, Keith was a devoted Eagle Scout and was honored to belong to the Order of the Arrow.Keith loved life and lived it to its fullest. There was never a dull moment around him. He was always busy shooting his pistols, hunting, fishing, ranching, traveling, and sitting on the back porch at the ranch enjoying the stunning sunsets. Some of his favorite memories included hunting trips to Alaska, Canada, South America, and Africa. Most memorable were those to British Columbia with his son, Ross; Africa with son, Scott, and Argentina with his wife, Linda. He was a wonderful father and loved traveling all over America to baseball tournaments with his boys when they were growing up.Survivors include his wife, Linda Williams of San Saba; his son, Hunter Ross Williams of Austin; mother-in-law, Faye Dell Derrick of San Angelo; brother-in-law, Gary Derrick of Austin; sisters, June Davis and husband, Morris, of Austin; Jimmie Dell Noll and husband, Gerhard, of Big Canoe, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.Keith was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas Scott Williams; and father-in-law, Howard Derrick.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
