Rod Schoenbacher passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at the Kelly Ranch in San Saba,Texas. He was born on October 14, 1955, and adopted by his parents, Dan and Dorothy Schoenbacher. Two and a half years later, he welcomed home his little adopted sister, Kim. In 1979, he married his loving bride, Elizabeth. From infancy, Rod was raised in the church, but truly became a Christian in his teen years. He remained faithful and loving to our Lord until his last breath.Rod was an avid sports fan. He loved his Green Bay Packers. Bret Favre was his favorite football player to follow. He was known to be great with statistics dealing with sports. He could quote you any stat that you might want to know.His survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Schoenbacher; daughter, Jennifer Patterson; sons, R.K. Schoenbacher, Logan Schoenbacher and wife, Laura, and Daniel Schoenbacher; grandchildren, Alexander Patterson, Ethan Patterson, Sierra Morales, Madison Schoenbacher, Rylee Schoenbacher; sisters, Kim Wilson and husband, Derek, Carol Seeger, and Diane Weaver; brothers, Pete Weaver and Eddie Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews.Preceding Rod in death were his parents.Bro.
