San Saba High School Cheerleaders participated in a three day camp sponsored by UCA last week. The group consists of Seniors-Calea Turner, Sara Sloan, Brittany Glaze and Nathania Cisneroz; Juniors-Nicole Sears, Kayce Ellis, and Kayla Ellis; Sophomores-Tarah Crosby and Nina Paredez and Freshman-Ashley Pulatie, Mari Zapata and Courtney Pryor.

The girls received a superior rating overall and were give special recognition to their determination and attention. Seven girls, Calea Turner, Kayce Ellis, Nicole Sears, Tarah Crosby, Nina Paradez, Ashley Pulatie and Courtney Pryor all tried out for the All-Star Team.

All those who tried out scored high enough to make the team and they have the opportunity to travel to London for New Year’s Eve.

The group had an outstanding camp and did a fantastic job.The UCA instructor, Kedall Schmit, was very impressed with their ability to learn quickly and perform to their best at all times.
