The San Saba High School Tennis Team played Early in Team Tennis on September 25 at the San Saba tennis courts. In boys singles San Saba split with Early by winning 3 and losing 3. The girls singles played the next round and San Saba won all 4 matches to put San Saba up 7 to 3. In doubles San Saba won 4 of the 5 matches to defeat Early 11 to 4. Playing for San Saba on the 25

The Tennis Team has 27 players playing at the present time. By the time basketball season ends we will have around 40 players playing on the team.

The schedule for the rest of the fall will be: at Lampasas on Oct. 9, at Brownwood on Oct. 16, at Llano against Fredericksburg on Oct. 25, at Mason on Oct. 30 and at Early against Jim Ned on November 13. All matches will start at 4:00 p.m.

The Tennis Team is also in the middle of their fundraiser this year. They are selling "Little Caesars Pizza Kits." You can buy pizza kits, cookie dough and buffalo wings. There are some new items in the pizza kits this year. If you are interested in buying a product from the tennis team contact one of the players or contact Coach Cox at 325-372- 8725 and we will get you taken care of. If you do not want pizza we will also take any donations. The pizza sale will end on October 11 and the delivery date will be on October 22.
