The rain did come once again dropping two and one-half inches of rain starting Friday night and on and off all day Saturday. Below Bend reports of one and one-half inch fell and over by Lometa four inches was reported. This rain was very beneficial to lots of different parts of Texas that was in dire need of moisture. Midland and the Big Spring area being one of the worst stricken drought areas got some much needed moisture Friday. It could have stuck around longer, but we won’t complain too much, because there still maybe a chance of more to come.
