Alice Smith to Perform during Pecan Capital Trade Days Sept. 6th

Alice Smith will be in concert Saturday, October 6th on the Courthouse lawn during the Pecan Capital Trade Days. She will accept donations for a new church and bible training school in San Fernando, Mexico. Alice and her husband Larry moved to San Saba from Ohio in July, 2006. Their family includes daughter Lisa and husband Chris; daughter Jenny and husband Bill, all living in Ohio; and granddaughter Michelle, in Tennessee. Alice has been employed part time at the San Saba News & Star since October, 2006. She enjoys singing, scrapbooking, Zumba, and trips to Mexico. Larry enjoys the Ministerial Alliance and is an avid hunter for meat for Mexico. He also enjoys teaching, ministering, getting supplies & working in Mexico. The concert will start at 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.; 11:30a.m. to 12:30a.m. and 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. A bottle of vanilla will be raffled off at 12:00 noon and 1:30p.m. to two contributors; you need not be present to win. So come, bring your lawn chair and listen or join in the music; enjoy shopping at the vendors on the square and have some food and fellowship.
