The story is told of an army that was once struck by an epidemic on the eve of battle. Hardly a man was not laid low by sickness. The commander knew his position would be overrun and that his forces would be decimated unless something was done. He went to his knees in prayer. He then trusted some guidance he received; he should put one drop of water on the tongues of each of his men, telling them all that the water was blessed and that it would make them well. His men believed him and they recovered in time to fight a winning battle.In Mark 9:23 Jesus said, "Everything is possible for him who believes." There is power in belief; power enough to knock the first two letters off the word impossible. Put your trust in the Lord and expect results.
