The San Saba Festival Association is offering local residents an opportunity to save money on advance Pecan Jam tickets for the event. For a limited time, advance discounted adult tickets for the San Saba River Pecan Jam may be purchased for $15 each (regular price is $20). Adults are 18 years of age and older. The offer is limited to two tickets per family, a savings of $5 per adult. Children over five years of age and under 18 are $5 per ticket anytime.These discounted wristbands can be purchased at San Saba City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce Office or Harry’s beginning October 1st and ending October 13th. Only cash or checks will be accepted for advance purchase tickets. Regular price tickets may be purchased by credit cards on the day of the festival.The San Saba River Pecan Jam will be held Saturday, October 20th in Risien Park alongside the San Saba River. Gates will open at 10:00 a.m., and the event’s headliners “Jason Boland and the Stragglers,” will perform at 9 p.m.“Last year’s Pecan Jam drew close to 3,000 attendees and was a wonderful showcase for San Saba, ‘The Pecan Capital of the World,’ to celebrate its pecan industry,” according to Marcia Dyer, Chamber president and member of the Festival Association Board.The San Saba Festival Association is a 501c (3) non-profit Texas corporation.
