The 12th Annual Cindy Hayes Memorial Food Drive will be held in San Saba on the Court House Square, Friday, October 12th from 8 a.m. – 2p.m! Central Texas Telephone Cooperative and Central Texas Communications are proud to sponsor the Food Drive each year. Please mark Friday, October 12th on your calendars now! There will be free sausage wraps and drinks from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Everyone that brings non-perishable food items or gives a cash donation to the Food Drive will be eligible to register for one of the many door prizes the businesses in San Saba County so graciously donate every year. KNUZ radio and Wayne Gatliff will broadcast live. When you buy food for your family the next couple of weeks, buy a little extra for the Food Drive! All the food items and cash donations will remain in San Saba County for individuals and families that need extra help.
