The Middle school football team opened the season with a great victory over the Ballinger Bearcats 12-6. The Dillos played a hard fought game in rainy muddy conditions last Thursday even-ing. The Dillos held the Bearcats to only one score. The Bearcats had a hard time with the aggressive Dillo Defense. Defensive standouts were Kadyn Saiz, Jayden Braja who had and Interception on the night, Josh Lambert, Julian Zapata, Matthew Flores, Eduardo Vega, Austin Cisneroz, Dalton Pierce, Matthew Burkhart Damon Ramos, Josh Free and Juan Esquivel. Offensively the Dillos pounded out the yards. Both of the touchdowns were put in by Elisha Cisneroz, led by the blocking of Braiden Johnson, Zayne Rhodes, Daniel Aragon, Aj Paredez, Aj Cazares, Kutter Isham, Alan Martinez, Ernesto Aguirre, Jesus Vega and Billy Holland. Other Offensive standouts were Jose Guerrero, Chase Turner, Colt Carlisle, Bryce Lewis, Wyatt Deans, Zach Brown and Skylar Crawford. Congrats to the Dillos for the opening season Victory.
