Heart of Texas Nashville Tour
The Heart of Texas Group on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

The Heart of Texas Country Music Association sponsored a trip to Nashville last month for 104 area country music fans. While in Nashville, the group attended the Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson Showboat, Heart of Texas Roadshow, Shotgun Red Show along with touring Loretta Lynn’s Plantation Home and Museum, Elvis’ Graceland, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium and Long-hollow Winery. Special guests joined them on the tour including Country Music Hall of Famer’s Little Jimmy Dickens and Bill Anderson along with Darrell and Mona McCall, Curtis Potter and Tony Booth. Fans from Brady, Llano, Mason, San Saba, Kingsland, Burnet, Marble Falls, Austin, San Angelo, Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Junction participated in the tour.
