This year the Gamboa family reunion was held at the Senior Center in San Saba on September 8th . All the Gamboa boys but only two of the girls made the event this year. Present was Marie Anita and her husband, Marcos Gomez, Joe Gamboa and his wife, Frances, Angel Gamboa and his wife, Linda, Antonio (Tony) Gamboa, Manuel Gamboa and his wife, Betty, and Maria Teresa (Cookie) Gamboa.All were greatly honored by the presence of Aunt Agustina Jimenez, and cousins Agustina Huron, Lupe Flores ,and Andrew Jimenez.Also present were various children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren whom were all greatly welcomed. We were surprised by a visit from a dear family friend, Helen Sutton. Family and friends enjoyed a delicious pot-luck dinner, games, and renewing of family ties.Plans for the 2013 reunion are in the making! We all look forward to seeing everyone next year especially those who could not make it this time, they were missed by all.
