A child has only one shot at an education. Parent support and involvement is crucial at both school and at home. This week is the end of the first 3 weeks of school. Three-week notices will be sent home next week. Please look for notices concerning your child and contact your child’s teacher as necessary to ensure your child is successful. Kids need structure and guidance to be successful. Today’s students are our hope for the future. Let’s work together to make their future bright! The junior high football team will have their first outing against Cherokee junior high this Thursday at Coyote Field. The junior game begins at 6:00. The varsity players enjoyed a 46-0 halftime victory last week over the Comanche Paradigm Patriots. The cheerleaders and Howlin’ Coyotes did a great job! There will be a junior high pep rally Thursday at 12:40, and the varsity pep rally will be at 3:10 on Friday. This week is the San Saba County rivalry with Cherokee. The varsity Coyotes will play Cherokee at Cherokee Stadium on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Come out and support the cheerleaders and the student athletes at the games, you won’t be disappointed! Homecoming is scheduled for September 28th.The Richland Springs Coyote Booster Club now has a website. Their website is: www.rscoyoteden.weebly.com The booster club email is rscoyoteden@yahoo.comListen to the Coyotes varsity games broadcasted on both 106.1 FM & 1410 AM and of course, on the worldwide web at http://www.sansabaradio.com/. Every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. the Coyote Booster Club meets at the old band hall for FILM, FOOD & FELLOWSHIP. We eat a potluck meal, watch the past week’s film, hear Coach Burkhart’s comments and enjoy the fellowship. Please remember that EVERYONE is ALWAYS welcome to attend! If you would like, please bring your favorite dish. The Booster Club will provide drinks. Please come and we will see you there each week! It’s great to see our community supporting students in their efforts to achieve. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. It takes everyone working together to achieve success.
