We are sure in need of a good rain. Some is predicted for later in the week. There will be no community meeting this month due to the rodeo workers appreciation supper on the 15th. On October 20th we will have another gospel singing instead of a community meeting. Mark your calendars and plan to attend. Irene Hammett tells me there will be no Busy Bee quilting in September or October. We will see how things are going in November. Maybe the ladies can get back on schedule. We send Irene our best wishes, hoping she will feel much better. There were three tables of 42 players at the tournament here in Richland last Saturday night. After playing off a tie for first, Andy Cummings and Butch Webb were the winners. Donna Webb and Bill Harlow came in second and Curtis Lee and David Hulme came in third. The next tournament will be the 13th of October in Elm Grove.
