Dorothy Mae Gatliff Duncan, 78, of San Saba passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M . at The Father’s House in San Saba. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at The Father’s House in San Saba.Dorothy Mae Gatliff Duncan was born on November 10, 1933, to Clifton Edward and Gertie Trucella Gibson Gatliff in Spur, Texas. Cooking was what she loved to do and she was always in the kitchen making something delicious. She also enjoyed gardening and was known to be able to grow anything.Survivors include her children, Jerry and Diann West, Jimmy and Brenda Berrio, Judy and Roland Wilke, Tawana and Dale Riggs, and Donald and Terri Carsten; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Mary and Wayne Riser, Vina and Charles Bailey, Brenda and Johnny Bethea, Bernice and RoRo Hoskins, and Emma and Troy Havins; and numerous nieces and nephews.Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jackie Carsten; great grandson, Sean Van Tress; brother, David Gatliff; and sisters, Linda Russell and Gloria Lee.Officiating the service was Bro. Alan Berrio and Bro. Tom Brand.
