San Saba County Relay For Life

Mark your calendars for the activities and fund-raisers for the San Saba Relay For Life this year. We do not want you to miss a thing that is being planned.Monday, September 24th- The committees for the Relay For Life will hold its second meeting at 5 p.m. in the Commercial National Bank meeting room under the direction of Michele Whitley. On the agenda will be the task of assigning committee chairmen, choosing a theme for the year, and planning for the "Kick Off" dinner. We are looking for volunteers to be involved with this year's event.Monday, November 5th- The annual "Kick Off" dinner for the San Saba Relay For Life will begin a 5:30 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall of the Church of Christ. This will be a county wide effort to inform the citizens of the various ways to help with the fight against cancer and sign up for a Relay For Life team. We especially want to invite the survivors of this disease and the caregivers. They are an important part of the event in making it a huge success. Stop by for a delicious meal and leave with a wealth of knowledge and a strong desire to become involved.Saturday, November 17th, The Performance Talent Team will host a Merry Christmas Pageant and talent competition. In addition to the contests, there will be a bazaar featuring great Christmas ideas and gifts.
