San Saba County 4-H is teaming-up with the Stripes store for a fundraiser. Customers who enter the Stripes Store at 1306 W. Wallace will be given the opportunity to purchase a mobile for $1.00 along with their other purchases. Almost all of the mobile money will go to support the San Saba County 4-H program. The Stripes Store has also done the same for the Children’s Miracle Network. The program runs from September 3rd to September 30. Texas 4-H and Stripes formed an alliance in 2010. and have raised over $210,000 the past two years. The past two years, approximately 90 cents of every dollar raised was returned to the counties where the stores were located. Expenses incurred by Stripes for printing the mobiles, posters, store incentives and the 5% donated to the Texas 4-H Foundation is all that is retained before funds released to the counties. San Saba County 4-H would really appreciate your support of the program.
