MATTHEW 24:6-8 "And JESUS said ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass; but the end is not yet. 7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, (drouths), and earthquakes in divers places. 8. All these are the beginning of sorrows."This scripture has a very important message for all people in the world today, but it can be easy for many to over read it and fail to see what JESUS wanted them to see when HE gave it. No one can fail to see the many wars and rumors of wars where nations are rising against other nations to cause wars and troubled kingdoms. We also hear of earthquakes happening in divers places. JESUS warned of these things and all people should give them serious thought, because they can greatly bother people all over the world today. However, these troubling events are not the most important thing that JESUS was warning of. Please pause right here and read again the 8th verse wherein HE warned that all these things are the beginning of sorrows. My friends we should agree that we can see all these things JESUS warned about; but we must realize that if they are the beginning of sorrows as HE plainly told us, it means it is the beginning and they will continue. My friends, if we believe that, we can plan our future to include HIS warning that they will continue. We are seeing the beginning, and we must plan our future to include their continuing, whether or not we believe JESUS's warning.
