Kinzie Homeyer, a member of the Robinson 9 to 10-year-old softball team, won the Texas West State Championship in a tournament in Ft. Worth, recently. They defeated Lubbock 14-1 and Willacy County 21-13 (after two lightening delays and an injury to a player), and beat Bulverde 18-0 to clinch the championship title.Kinzie is the daughter of Chad and Dana Homeyer. Her grandparents are Randy and Donna Baxter, and her great-grandmother is Wahnee Stallings.
