Armadillo Football Report
Thursday, August 23, 2012 • Posted August 23, 2012

Thanks to all the fans that came out to the Varsity and JV scrimmages at San Angelo this past Saturday. For the most part the coaching staff was pleased with both scrimmages. There is still a lot of room for improvement as we strive to be the best we can be. This week the Armadillos will practice Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 5:00. Thursday the Armadillos will have our second and final scrimmage (tune-up) at Comanche with the JV starting at 6:00 and the Varsity starting at 7:30. Friday the Armadillos will practice at 4:00 and the community is invited and encouraged to attend “Meet The Dillos” at 7:00 at Rogan Field. All Cheerleaders, Drill Team, Band, Cross Country runners will be introduced as well as the Varsity and JV football players, student trainers and coaches. This is also the annual Towel And Soap Donation Night. The community is encouraged to bring Towels, Body Wash (we try not to use bar soap for germ reasons), and Shampoo. This is for the Armadillo athletes to use all year long. Thanks in advance for a big turn out and your donations. I would also like to thank everyone for their cookie dough fundraising purchases. We once again had great response with this critical fund raiser. A big thanks goes out to all the parents who attended last weeks Football parent meeting. I invite everyone to get involved in Dillo football, Dillo athletics, the booster clubs, and your childs activities because there is power in numbers. I would like to invite everyone to our 1st “Coffee with the Coach” this is at 7:00 a.m. every Friday morning starting this Friday the 24th. We will have it at the Hardman Texcan office (same place it was last year). If you have any questions or need anything from me, feel free to call my cell 325-372-1712, the Field House 325-372-3222, or come by the Field House at Rogan Field. Go Dillos
