The annual Richland Springs and Elm Grove rodeos are past and two-a-days are in progress. This signals the start of a new school year. Richland Springs staff reported for duty on Monday August 20th for in-service. Students report for the first day of school on August 27th. Most students have registered for classes. Any students not registered for classes may register during the first day of class on August 27. You are encouraged to become involved in the education process of your child. The Coyote Booster Club hosted “Meet the Coyotes” and they invite you to join the booster club members each week for the post-game round-up. 12 boys are playing high school football this year. The next scrimmage will be at Throckmorton at 6:00 p.m. this Thursday, August 23. Look for the Coyotes to go deep in the playoffs again this year.The 2012-13 cheerleaders under the direction of Sherri Ashworth are working hard to have a successful year. They will be selling spirit flags that attach to your car window. Contact any cheerleader to purchase a spirit flag and support the Coyotes at home and on the road to state.It takes community support for students to excel in their efforts to achieve. We have great students, teachers and staff. 2012-2013 looks to be a great year! It takes everyone working together to achieve success. Community involvement is the key to success!
