Shelby Hardy graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville (TX) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology / minor in Health from the SHSU College of Education during commencement ceremonies at the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum on August 4th. Hardy, a 2009 graduate of San Saba High School, is a member of the Sam Houston State women’s golf team and will be pursuing her Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction (with an alternative certification) while competing in her final year of eligibility in NCAA Division 1 golf this coming Fall semester and following Spring semester of 2013. Shelby is the daughter of Shay Hardy and Betty Sue Fernandez Hardy of San Saba. Her grandparents are Bill & JoAnne Hardy of San Saba, Raymond & Olivia Valles of Lampasas, and Henry & Estella Fernandez of Lawrence, Kansas. Great-grandparents are Celia & the late Jesus Reyes of San Saba.
