County Commissioners meet August 20th

The San Saba County Commissioners Court was held on Monday, August 20th, at 3:00 p.m. in the County Judge’s Chambers. County Judge Byron Theodosis called the Court to order and welcomed everyone. Commissioner Kenley Kroll gave the invocation followed by everyone joining for the pledges to the American and Texas flags.The Commissioners approved the following items:1. Order of General Election November 6th.2. The purchase of a truck for Pct. 4 in the amount of $38,436.52 with funds available through FEMA.3. The bills to be paid presented by County Treasurer, Gayla Hawkins.Commissioner Rickey Lusty reported two inches of rain in the Richland Springs area over the weekend, but other precincts only got sprinkles. The Burn Ban, which was enacted on August 6th, will remain in effect .The Commissioners Court will have a Special Called Session Friday, August 24th at 8 a.m. for a Budget Meeting. Judge Theodosis adjourned the meeting. Those in attendance were: County Judge, Byron Theodosis; County Commissioners, Pat Pool. Kenley Kroll, Rickey Lusty, Otis Judkins; County Clerk, Kim Wells; Administrative Assistant, Cathi Miles; County Coordinator, Marsha Hardy and San Saba News & Star Reporter, Alice Smith.
