Revelations 11: 7-8 "And Satan as Antichrist was given power to make war with the saints and to overcome them: And power was given him over all kindred, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life, slain from the foundation of the world."God did not leave us in the dark, and it is clear and understandable in your Bible. Bible warnings are coming true at an alarming rate, and we should study them to know, Satan (as Antichrist), will be given power to make war with the saints and will overcome them. It should be no mystery for us to know why and how this will happen. We are recognized as a nation of God's people, but it cannot be denied that we are becoming a very, very wicked and sinful nation that is disappointing and hurting God by turning from His ways. This sinful living is causing many serious problems that are plaguing our people and the entire world, and these problems will get much worse unless we see immediate repentance that will cause a returning to God's ways. The world's problems will become so serious that many will turn from God with bitterness and end in a state of helpless confusion; which will automatically create a situation to permit Antichrist to come into our earthly living. That will not be a darkened event; it will happen and people will see it, and be deceived in believing it is Jesus returning to earth. (In Luke 10:18, Jesus said "I saw Satan as lightening fall from heaven."). Average people will see this also and many believe it is Jesus, but it will be the Antichrist; and he will have power to bring a temporary peace from the world's serious troubles, and also power to do great miracles.Of course, that will further deceive most people. Then Antichrist will imitate exactly what people believe Jesus would do; but after most are deceived he will turn into the devil, Satan, that he really is and bring the greatly feared tribulation that your Bible clearly describes to warn about. This tribulation will be the worst thing earthly people will ever have to endure. Thousands will be tortured and killed. Please read Matthew 24:21-22 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be." You will find warnings concerning Antichrist in both the old and new Testaments of your Bible. Space does not permit herein. And everywhere Antichrist is mentioned it leaves no doubt but that he will come before Jesus Christ returns...It is important to remember that.
