Students will be returning to school on August 27th. The cell phone policy remains the same: Cell phones must remain in the student’s locker during school hours, but cell phone use will be allowed during a student’s lunch period. Student activity is increasing as the new school year approaches. School varsity football practice begins Monday, August 6th. The Coyotes first scrimmage is Thursday, August 16th vs. Zephyr at Coyote Field at 6:00 p.m. Coaches this year are Jerry Burkhart, Shawn Rogers, and Thomas Tipton. The varsity cheerleaders are also preparing for the upcoming season and attended cheerleading camp in San Angelo for 4 days.
