The Armadillo Football Camp went great last week, and the Armadillo coaching staff appreciates all the parents sending their kids this year. We had 40 campers this year and they all seemed to enjoy it. High School football is approaching fast and we want to remind all the players and parents/guardians about some dates and information that players and parents/guardians need to take care of prior to our first practice. Make sure your football player has all paper work turned in, even if your child did not have to get a physical he or she must have all paper work up to date. This can be picked up and turned in at the Field House at Rogan Field. If your child is entering the 7th, 9th, or 11th. grade or was injured last year he will need a physical, if you were unable to get a free physical last spring, this needs to be taken care of prior to the first practice. Please come by the field house at any time on Thursday August 2nd, or Friday August 3rd. if you have any questions about anything. You may also call Coach Pannell at 325-372-1712. Players are encouraged to come by and make sure their paper work is complete and they have a August calendar on the 2nd and 3rd. as well. 2 a day football practices will begin August 6th. This for all 9th-12th. grade players. Practice for Middle School players will begin the first day of school. The Purple/Gold practice will be Saturday August 11th from 8:00-11:00. High School Football pictures will be Thursday August 16th. at 10:00am. at Rogan Field. The football parent meeting for all football parents will be Thursday August 16th. at 7:30pm. in the foyer of Armadillo Arena.Meet The Dillos will be Friday August 24th. at 7:00pm at Rogan Field, admittance will be towels and soap.
