Thursday, July 26, 2012 • Posted July 26, 2012

Dennis Hall will be addressing the importance of family relationships and how they can be restored during a four day “Restoring the Family” Revival, July 29-August 1, at The Father’s House in San Saba. Dennis and his wife, Judy, come as ministers from New Life Restoration Church in Brecken-ridge, Texas. He will be speaking at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, and at 7:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday evenings. Community members are encouraged to bring the whole family to hear Pastor Hall focus on issues and solutions that involve the family. The American family today is in trouble. Approximately 50% of first marriages end in divorce, and 51% of adults who are living together are not married. One fourth of children under age 17 live with a step-parent. Families are bombarded from every side with influences that often have a negative impact on those they love. Parents are struggling for answers. Overcoming challenges that face the modern family are not easy but they are possible with God’s help. The information presented at “Restore the Family” will be insightful, encouraging, and offer hope to those who desire a closer family unit. Pastor Dennis will supply practical guidelines for helping to stabilize relationships, and he will give specific assistance for adults, teens, and children. Pastor Hall is also able to minister with empathy to families that have experienced debilitating tragedies. He has walked through the loss of a daughter to a brain tumor, the loss of his grandfather in a fire, the death of his sister from ovarian cancer, and the death of his first wife of 32 years to blood cancer. Dennis Hall is a graduate of Howard Payne University and has two degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has experience as a father (of five), counselor, and pastor for 35 years. He has led over 120 youth revivals and youth camps throughout five states. He recently served as president of the Breckenridge Ministerial Alliance, a volunteer fireman while living in the Round Rock area, and developed a curriculum called “From Tragedy to Triumph: The Process of Grief” which he utilizes in Grief Share groups. So step up to the plate! Whether you are married, a single parent, a grandparent rearing grandchildren, or living alone, accept the challenge to improve or turn your situation around! Child care will be provided during each service for ages four and under.
