Byron & Lisa Theodosis of San Saba, TX would like to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Michelle Lisa Theodosis to Smith Douglas Monson, son of David & Julianne Monson of Salt Lake City, UT. Michelle Theodosis is the granddaughter of Raymond & Paula Barrier of San Saba, TX, Anastasia Theodosis of Kerrville, TX, and the late Nicholas Theodosis. The groom’s grandparents are Marian Johnson of Salt Lake City, UT, the late Ray Johnson and the late Smith & Dorothy Monson. Michelle Theodosis is a 2005 graduate of San Saba High School, a 2010 graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Physiology and a minor in Sociology. She is currently pursuing a JD at University of Utah’s S. J. Quinney College of Law. Smith Monson graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, UT in 1997. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah with a major in Spanish and minors in History and Psychology in 2006; a Masters Degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Latin American Studies. Smith Monson is currently pursuing a JD at University Utah’s S. J. Quinney College of Law and working as the Mickelson Fellow with the Western Governor’s Association under the Chair, Utah Governor Gary Herbert. He served a 2-year mission in Venezuela for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The couple plans to be married Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Bountiful, UT.
