Get ready for the San Saba Pecan Bottom Concert Series. The fourth one is this Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Risien Park and admission is free. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. and it's BYOB. Then at 8:00 p.m. on the city stage, it's two steppin' country dance music, featuring the legendary "Mark Scott." Mark is a singer, song-writer, producer, engineer and owns NLM Music Studio & Publishing Company in San Saba. He has over 40 years experience in the music business. Mark has recorded 14 singles, including the regional hits "Stand Up Fool" and "Hey Little Darlin" plus two albums, and has written songs that have been recorded by other artists including a member of the Country Music Hall Of Fame, Hank Thompson.This concert series is intended to get you ready for the "San Saba River Pecan Jam" festival on October 20, 2012. There's a party in the Pecan Bottom...for the whole family.
