Saturday, June 2nd, the families enjoyed a picnic supper at Mill Pond Park with 33 in attendance. They enjoyed visiting and taking pictures. A private swimming party was held at Pecan Pool from 6pm-8pm.Sunday, June 3rd , the reunion was held at the Community Center at 705 East Storey Street, San Saba. The day was spent visiting and taking pictures. The children enjoyed card games. There were numerous photo albums of past reunions available for viewing. Bruce Moore barbecued the meat and also cooked new potatoes and beans. He was assisted by J.B. Moore, Randy Mask, James Moore, Marlin Moore, and Ricky Prescott. The oldest person in attendance was Trenton Hamrick of San Saba. The youngest attending was Rylie Edens of Hillboro. Traveling the farthest was Travis Leigh of Nigeria followed by Tabatha Chanley, Madison, Kimberly, and Holly of Kenair, Alaska. There were 52 in attendance on Sunday. Those attending were Diana Ingram of Odessa, Cherry Williams of Arlington, James Moore of Benbrook, Marlin Moore of Saginaw, Boyd Ray and Diane Bates of Hobbs, New Mexico; Jennifer Hamrick, Hunter Nasato, and Emma VanBibber of Leander; Sherry Hamrick, Charlotte Lawson and Olive Lawson of Austin; J.K. and Leslie Edens, Ryan and Rylie of Hillsboro; Ricky Prescott and Kayla Prescott of Lampasas; Travis and Betty Leigh of Nigeria and Bellville; Tabatha Chanley, Madison, Kimberly and Holly of Kenair, Alaska; Natalie Hamrick and Susan Slaughter of Belton; Michelle Pratt, Shawn Cheek, and Audra Jackson of Fairfield; Kathy Saucillo and Sheldon Rothwell of Goldthwaite and Cynthia Hamrick of San Angelo. Those attending from San Saba were Trenton and Patsy Hamrick, Corky Grimes, Lynn Hamrick, Kim Mahan, Bill Prescott, Bruce and Rhonda Moore, J.B. Moore and Paige, Caryl Edmondson, Deloris Tyler, Courtney Caldwell, Angela and Lauryn Tatsch, Randy and Alisha Mask, Acey, Bailey, and Jaxsen.The Hamrick Family Reunion will be held next year on June 1st and June 2nd , 2013 in San Saba, Texas in the same place.
