Proverbs 23:23: “Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding.”John 8:31-32: “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to My teaching, you are really My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”By possessing the truth, knowing it and telling it, we are rewarded with freedom. Freedom from guilt and feelings of uncleanliness and unworthiness which plague those who fabricate, embellish and misrepresent. To thine own self be true, this is very good advice.
